You probably heard Ronnie Lawson before you saw him. And most who saw him would say he's a man you'd struggle to forget.The legendary football fan was notorious on the terraces of Lancashire. His bellow from the sidelines was so distinctive he became known as ‘the biggest mouth in the North West’.

In what is a real glimpse of times gone by, Ronnie is then seen heading into the Burscough changing room as the players squish into a small, communal bath. The players discuss how they can always hear Ronnie shouting - and that they’ve no doubt the referees can too. In 2012, Ronnie died aged 84 and was fondly remembered by so many associated with the club. Then, Ronnie was described by the Ormskirk Advertiser as “one of Burscough’s FC’s longest serving fans, and a tireless fundraiser and volunteer”.
