Richardson ISD has issued a series of reminders about policies and conduct expectations at athletic events.

Positive and respectful behavior toward all participants, coaches, referees and other spectators is expected, the district said. That includes signs, which should not be distracting nor block the view of other spectators. The district uses a clear-bag policy and prohibits weapons, alcohol, tobacco and other items at events.For safety reasons, uniformed Dallas or Richardson police officers and school district staff security are assigned to events at high school stadiums and gyms.
Face masks are encouraged and optional in all Richardson ISD schools and facilities, according to the district. If COVID-19 case levels are high, masks are strongly encouraged indoors.
