Incredibly frustrating
Bosses at a family-run Italian restaurant in West Bridgford say a small number of customers have been banned after a frustrating weekend of 'no shows'. Staff at La Storia moved to highlight instances of customers not honouring reservations by not turning up - cases which leave the restaurant out of pocket.
"One table, after we called them an hour later, tried to have the audacity to reschedule the booking and then we suffered threatening behaviour when saying that they're not allowed back," the statement on Instagram read.Staff at the restaurant in Musters Road, opposite the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, said the behaviour of the diners culpable had been 'absolutely shocking'.
"We take deposits, but this doesn't cover the huge loss of repeated no shows. Thank you to those who are not in this category, and all our regulars who never lets us down."
