Agencies and nonprofits providing resources to veterans to prevent suicide say a lower suicide rate is an encouraging trend but believe there is still more work to be done.
– The suicide rate among veterans is the lowest it’s been in over a decade. It fell nearly 10% between 2018 and 2020, according to a new report from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
