Lancashire Constabulary has issued an appeal for help to find Afraz Shoaib Asif. .
Asif was described as 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with a grey/black beard. He also has a rose tattoo on his right arm and a tattoo on the base of his left thumb.Officers have released a picture of Asif on social media as part of an appeal. Anyone with information was asked to urgently contact police.
In a statement issued this morning , A Hyndburn Police spokesperson said: "Have you seen Afraz Shoaib Asif? He is wanted after failing to appear before Blackburn Magistrates Court for sentence on a breach of notification requirements for the Sex Offenders Register and breach of post sentence supervision.
"Asif, 40, was last seen in Blackburn, and has links to Great Harwood. He is 5ft 10, of medium build, with a grey/black beard. "He has a rose tattoo on his right arm and a tattoo on the base of his left thumb. Any sightings of Asif or information as to where he might be, please call 01254 353246 or email [email protected]."
