He was surprised by the suggestion the province should have a seat on the Prince Albert board of police commissioners, which oversees the force’s governance, based on the “significant amount” of funding it provides. That money comes from taxpayers, he noted. “That’s something you don’t want to lose as you push for greater standardization and collaboration with other government bodies,” he said.
