More than half a million Ukrainians have fled to neighboring countries as Russia continues its invasion of their homeland, according to UN statistics released Monday., according to UN data. Many refugee programs in Ukraine have been forced to shut down. Some national leaders now welcoming Ukrainians only recently refused — or reluctantly offered refuge — to people fleeing from the Middle East and Africa,
