Red Hot Chili Peppers announces Houston concert date at Minute Maid Park
Red Hot Chili Peppers -- Anthony Kiedis, left, Flea, John Frusciante and Chad Smith -- are coming to the Alamodome.The Red Hot Chili Peppers announced their 2023 world tour, including two shows in Texas and one of those stops in Houston at Minute Maid Park.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will kick off their tour on March 29 in Vancouver, coming through San Antonio on May 17 at the Alamodome and here on Thursday, May 25. The Strokes and Thundercat will open for them at both Texas shows.Iggy Pop, The Roots, The Mars Volta, St. Vincent, City and Colour and King Princess will also join the band on select dates.
The tour announcement comes after the band's release of two studio albums,"Unlimited Love" and"Return of the Dream Canteen," this year.
