Paraag Marathe has spoken to The Athletic about Red Bull's investment in Leeds United and what it means for the club going into this summer transfer window
Transfers in and retaining one of Leeds United’s best players this summer could be the immediate difference Red Bull’s investment may make. The energy drink giant was confirmed as a minority investor on Thursday morning as well as the club’s incoming shirt sponsor for 2024/25.
“I wouldn’t say it was a concern,” he said. “It’s definitely something I wanted to address. I’m not talking about whatever their positive or negative history is. “I’m talking about understanding our history and understanding and respecting our legacy. So, for example, this club is and will forever be Leeds United Football Club.
