James Bisgrove has confirmed Rangers are in talks to appoint a director of football.
The club has not had someone in the role since Ross Wilson's departure to Nottingham Forest with Michael Beale operating without one during his tenure.
On whether a director of football would be appointed after Philippe Clement's appointment as manager, Bisgrove commented: "That's a conversation Philippe and I have had, it's one Philippe has had with the board. "We feel we have got a really strong group of leaders that will implement the strategy and take key decisions, whether that's player contracts or player acquisitions.
