The Las Vegas Raiders welcomed kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada to trick-or-treat at the club's headquarters.
Last week, the club invited 200 children from the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada to trick-or-treat at the Raiders' headquarters and Intermountain Health Performance Center.
There were four houses that participated in the Halloween event: John C. Kish, Lied Memorial, Donald W. Reynolds and Southern Highlands. A number of Raiders, including quarterback Aidan O'Connell, offensive tackle Thayer Munford Jr., wide receiver Tre Tucker, defensive end Tyree Wilson, tight end Michael Mayer, defensive tackle Nesta Jade Silvera, punter AJ Cole, cornerback Nate Hobbs and linebacker Robert Spillane, along with the Raiderettes, families of the team and members of the front office helped set up and run 17 different tents for the children to stop by.
The children were also able to pick a pumpkin from a pumpkin patch, play through inflatable obstacle courses and slides, and partake in football drills.Boys & Girls Club of Southern NevadaThese Boys & Girls clubs were also invited to the Raiders' community day during training camp and have been invited attendees at Raiders games. Raiders rookies have also hosted a Raiders Junior Training Camp in the past for the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada.
Its website also states,"Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada becomes our community’s model youth development organization, providing innovative solutions and community partnership to resolve youth issues. Clubs are well-known for the positive impact they have on the lives of young people, and demand for Club membership is at an all-time high."
