When NBC's Raymond Lee-starring Quantum Leap returns for Season 2 on October 4th, it will be kicking off an hour earlier from now on.
Back in July, NBC announced some changes to its 2023-2024 Fall Premiere dates & line-up as a result of the AMPTP being unable to negotiate new contracts with SAG-AFTRA and WGA. One of the surprises was that we learned the would be returning with Season 2 episodes beginning Wednesday, October 4th, at 9 PM. Originally, the series was set for Wednesday nights – with a timeslot putting it between"Chicago" show repeats and the second half ofSeason 5 .
"We're leaping into a second season thanks to the incredible work by our cast, producers, writers, and everyone who has played a role in giving this iconic NBC series a new life," said, President of Scripted Content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, in a statement back in December 2022 when the news that Quantum Leap was first announced.
At the helm of the highly confidential operation is Herbert"Magic" Williams , a no-nonsense career military man who has to answer to his bosses, who won't be happy once they learn about the breach of protocol. The rest of the team at headquarters includes Ian Wright , who runs the Artificial Intelligence unit"Ziggy," and Jenn Chou , who heads up digital security for the project.
