Britain’s two main political parties are pushing to reach a new Brexit deal this week ahead of a European Union summit
LONDON— that will consider British Prime Minister Theresa May’s request to further postpone the country’s departure from the bloc.
The talks between the ruling Conservative Party and the principal opposition Labour Party are resuming after Mrs. May changed tactics last week in a bid to get a Brexit deal through a fractious Parliament that has three times rejected the agreement she negotiated with the EU.
