Tuesday was the first day of school for many students throughout New Jersey.

“Hopefully COVID remains in the rearview mirror and we are able to move forward with a full return to school as we knew it before the pandemic,” said Scott Ridley, Superintendent of Hazlet Schools Wood shop teacher Evan Noone had his students ask the neighbor next to them their name and favorite movie as an ice breaker.
The school has almost 2,300 students and close to 300 staff members. “We are like a small city,” the principal said.
