The Duke and Duchess of Sussex feature in the official programme for King Charles's Coronation, despite Meghan Markle staying behind in California for the landmark event at Westminster Abbey next month.
The souvenir programme for King Charles' coronation next month went on sale on Monday and features a very awkward-looking image of the Royal family pictured alongside each other.
The photo, taken in 2018 to mark King Charles's 70th birthday, is included despite the fact Meghan is skipping the landmark event to stay at home in California to mark her son Archie’s fourth birthday. He added: "In the full knowledge that even as a King, he is one of the people and that even if he has a particular role to fulfil, he shares in our human frailties and vulnerabilities".The Archbishop described how coronations "often carry with them the hopes and prayers of nations for peace, justice and the common good".
Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May.Royals latest news It is expected that Harry will make a swift exit from the event next month, which has reportedly thrown further chaos into plans for the big day as King Charles had been planning to raise a toast to his grandson Archie.
