Zenyah Daniels added the extra point kick.Carroll got back on the scoreboard when Peyton Plott went in from 2 yards out with 3:50 left before halftime.
CHHS improved to 6-3 and now rests up next week before playing in the first round of the Class 5A state playoffs at home in two weeks. Kingston Tolbert scored on a 7-yard touchdown run and Michael Moore scored on an 8-yard run and added a 27-yard TD pass to JJ King for Geneva. Moore, Tolbert and Landon Elmore all scored on a two-point conversion for the Panthers.
Pike County 49, Daleville 6: The Bulldogs kept their postseason hopes alive with a home win over Daleville in a Class 3A, Region 2 game. Defensively, Austen Ashworth and Braylen Morris each had three tackles and Evan Morris had a tackle and an interception.Ariton 37, Samson 7: The Purple Cats led 37-0 by halftime in improving to 6-4 overall, 5-2 in Class 2A, Region 2.
Zion Chapel 56, Abbeville 28: Zion Chapel earned a .500 record for the season, beating Abbeville in last game of the season. Baker 32, Pike Liberal Arts 24: The Patriots fell at home to the visiting Gators from Florida, dropping to 2-6 on the season.
