Russell French knew his son Kenneth was worse off and directed a good Samaritan to his dying son, he testified at the ex-LAPD officer’s manslaughter hearing.
Thursday, there was testimony from a witness who said Sanchez believed that Kenneth French had shot him. But no gun was recovered from French, who is intellectually disabled, and authorities have said that Sanchez was the only shooter.
“I said, ‘Don’t shoot. My son is sick,’ and things happened at lightning speed,” French testified. Suddenly, “We’re all shouting in pain.”
