The Porsche Mission X is expected to spawn a production model that'll chase a new Nurburgring Nordschleife lap record car auto cars
to produce significantly more downforce than the current 911 GT3 RS with its 1,895 lbs produced at 177 mph . It also wants to set a new production car lap record around the Nurburgring Nordschleife with the car.
Few would deny that the Mission X is a stunning vehicle to look at in photos and we imagine it’s even more gorgeous in person. Given that Porsche released concepts of both the Carrera GT andthat looked almost identical to the eventual production models, it’s safe to assume that the next hypercar from Porsche should look very similar to this concept.
However, the lack of an internal combustion engine is likely to disappoint some enthusiasts and collectors. Porsche has heavily promoted its investments into the use of synthetic fuels and given that it thinks it can keep building the 911 with an internal combustion thanks to this new fuel, it likely could have built one final ICE-powered hypercar.
