3 fire crews were called to the incident
A Nottingham pork pie factory is operating as normal after a fire broke out this morning, its owners have said. Three fire engines were in attendance at Tottle Bakery, Dunsil Drive, where the blaze started on the ground floor of the building at 7.47am on Friday, April 21.
A spokesperson said: “The Fire Brigade was called as a safety precaution due to a small fire in one of our ovens at our Tottle Bakery site this morning. Nobody was injured and the site is operating as normal.”Appliances from London Road and West Bridgford fire stations attended the fire and left the scene at around 9.30pm. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was located in an industrial oven in the ground floor of the building.
