Pope Francis mourned the death of Queen Elizabeth II, praising her “steadfast witness of faith in Jesus Christ” in an open letter to King Charles III, the new monarch of the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, 43rd President George Bush wrote that"spending time at Buckingham Palace, and having tea with Her Majesty – and her Corgis – is among our fondest memories of the presidency.”
