Patty Murray , in Washington’s U.S. Senate Race, according to the most recent poll conducted by McLaughlin & Associates.found that Smiley is closing in on the Democrat with 43 percent of the vote, compared to Murray’s 49 percent of the vote. The McLaughlin & Associates poll also found that eight percent were undecided.
Murray has a slightly better favorability with the likely general election voters than Smiley. Forty-seven percent found her favorable, while 44 percent viewed her negatively. For Smiley, 36 percent viewed her favorably, while only 29 percent viewed her negatively.
