Detectives are looking for a black Dodge Nitro believed to be involved in this hit-and-run, according to a Sept. 20 news release from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
INDIANAPOLIS — One person died after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning on the Northeast side of Indianapolis, police said.
Officers responded to a report of a person injured in a crash on the 7700 block of North Shadeland Avenue, where they found a male pedestrian, who was then taken to a hospital, where he died. Detectives are looking for what is believed to be a 2006 to 2012 black Dodge Nitro believed to be involved with this hit-and-run, according to a Sept. 20 news release from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. The car sustained damage to the lower front end from the collision, the release said.
