A cordon was put in place at the scene last night
The two-vehicle smash happened at the junction of Cross Lane and Liverpool Street in the Pendleton area last night . Police officers were called to the scene at around 10.30pm.
A picture showed one car flipped onto its side in the middle of the road. Another car could be seen within the area taped off by police.One man was arrested on the scene, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said. It has not yet been confirmed what he was arrested on suspicion of. No injuries were reported.
