A POLICE officer was stabbed in the shoulder while trying to arrest a knife-wielding man during a call-out.
The cop was responding to reports of "serious disorder" in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham yesterday morning when he was knifed.Three officers were called to an address in Reeves Road just after 6am and found a man armed with a blade.The man, in his 40s, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of wounding with intent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and possession of a knife in a public place.
