Police investigate stabbing in El Cajon [Breaking]
Police are investigating after a man was found stabbed in an El Cajon Del Taco parking lot early Sunday morning.
Law enforcement was called to help the victim at around 12:35 a.m. on Broadway near the state Route 67 on-ramp. The victim, who is 39, had at least one stab wound in his upper torso, said El Cajon police Lt. Walt Miller. Officers gave the victim first aid before he was transported to a hospital. He is expected to survive, Miller said.The circumstances of the stabbing and whether there was a relationship between the victim and his assailant was not known, Miller said.
