Police helicopter over Watford for 'ongoing arrest enquiries' - live updates

Police have explained why the helicopter has been called out

Meriden residents reported seeing a helicopter hovering over the area and a"large" police presence in the Gossamers this afternoon .

A picture taken around 5.25pm shows the helicopter over the York Way shops, it was apparently there from around 5pm.They said that they cannot add any more yet as the incident is ongoing.
