Police tried to stop a van in Wishaw and a police helicopter captured the alleged chase all the way to East Kilbride.
Cops attempted to stop a Transit van in Wishaw at around 10am on Saturday morning.
Police Scotland’s Air Unit reported that a helicopter assisted with the alleged chase and subsequent arrest. An image from the chopper’s thermal camera shows officers detaining the man. “The driver was successfully detained after an abandon and a short foot chase. A great piece of coordination between the crew and ground personnel.”
