What happened in Poldark season 5?

Set in England around the turn of the 19th century, the series follows Captain Ross Poldark as he returns home from fighting in the American Revolutionary War to find that his carefully planned life has fallen to shambles.

However, Hanson's influence over George leads him to make a speech in front of parliament endorsing slave labor in Honduras, which pits Ross' philosophy against George's.
