“With the rate of transmission in Cuyahoga County now low and newly revised guidance from the CDC regarding mask-wearing, audience members may choose whether to wear a mask at Playhouse Square beginning today,” Playhouse Square President and CEO Gina Vernaci wrote in an email to patrons on Monday. “We ask that audience members be respectful of one another’s choices,” she added, while noting there may be exceptions required by certain artists or productions. The new mask policy will be in effect for “Pretty Woman,” the Broadway musical opening at the Connor Palace for a three-week run beginning on Tuesday.
