When asked why she’s willing to be so forthcoming about dark incidents from her past, when other artists like to cultivate an air of mystery around their personal issues, Pink replied, “If I’m a mystery to you, how can I expect you to connect with me? I want you to know me.”“That’s the thing with me. Once I make up my mind, I’m done.” She said that the chip on her shoulder that made her a “really difficult kid” has helped her succeed and have longevity in the cutthroat music industry.
