Piers Morgan, the former Good Morning Britain host, sparked a bit of a stir with recent comments about the Royal family. The 58 year old, who recently revealed his plans to start a YouTube channel, has called on Buckingham Palace to provide "more clarity" about Prince William's sudden decision to withdraw from a public event on Tuesday.
"The Prince of Wales is no longer attending the memorial service this morning for his godfather King Constantine of Greece. Prince William's office will not say why, other than it's a 'personal matter'. They did say Kate continues to be 'doing well'," a tweet by journalist Chris Ship quoted by Piers read. "Very strange, and rather concerning," Morgan then told his followers, before adding: "The Palace should offer more clarity.
A third argued: "I take your point Piers, but William is possibly still adjusting to being next in line, plus he has a wife and children to worry about, so perhaps we can cut him a bit of slack."
