It’s been a month since Phillip, 61, admitted to lying abouton the show, which happened while he was married and before coming out as gay in 2020.
The Dancing on Ice presenter stepped down from all ITV hosting duties with ‘immediate effect’ after apologising for deceiving his bosses and colleagues when asked if he was romantically involved with the runner. After Phillip’s bombshell confession, his former co-star Holly Willoughby took to her Instagram stories to say: ‘It’s taken time to process yesterday’s news. When reports of this relationship first surfaced, I asked Phil directly if this was true and was told it was not.Talk TV frontman Piers, who previously came to his defence, said: ‘I’ve been in touch with Phillip and I think he’s struggling.’: ‘It’s tough to leave any big job, let alone when its a big scandal. But he’ll be back.
