Photos as England fans in Leeds celebrate 6-2 win over Iran
The men's England team played their first game of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar earlier today. What started off a little slow, with lots of stoppages, soon became a complete thrashing by the England squad.were hosting fan zones for people to watch the game. Toast was very packed out, with fans in their kits celebrating at each goal.
Pryzm not so much, only a handful turned out for the game in the transformed nightclub, but it's expected many more will arrive for England's game on Friday.Gary Lineker forced to apologise as England fans left fuming at 'disgraceful' BBC coverage England beat opponents Iran in a 6-2 victory, with fans across the country celebrating. Kick off for the match was at 1pm, meaning lots of people were either at work or home but revellers came out in the rain to watch the match at various bars and pubs across Leeds.
England went on to triumph over Iran, with fans embracing during celebrations. Their next game against the USA is on Friday, November 25.
