Philippe Clement put his first points on the board as Rangers boss and the fans are already buying into the Belgian's appointment. A hammering of Hibs at Ibrox has his reign off and running and old gaffer Michael Beale was still getting it in the neck.
Derek MacLachalan said: "What a difference in Rangers under Clement, they were really decent against Hibs and it shows what having a proper manager can do rather than having a rookie wannabe in Beale. Rangers also need to buy Abdallah Sima. He is fantastic and what a player." Alan McGaw, Alloa, said: "Well done Rangers for their fully deserved win and it should have been more. It's a good start for the new manager with a new dawn ahead. What a player Sima is going out to be. There was good energy in the team and still a long way to go but with Clement's tactics, we have the rest of the season to look forward to."
Paul McArdle, Gourock, said: "In the first quarter of this SPFL season Celtic are away from home to Aberdeen, Rangers, Hearts and Hibs. That computer hasn't done them any favours and surely imagine if Rangers had a start like that."
