The Long Shadow starts on ITV on Monday 25 September at 9pm
, it will revisit the serial killer whose brutal actions terrorised the nation in the 1970s and the beginning of the 80s and claimed the lives of 13 women.will focus on the “lives of Sutcliffe’s victims and the loved ones they left behind”.As well as the known 13 murdered women, Sutcliffe attempted to murder a further seven., 28, from Chapeltown in Leeds and a mother of four was killed on 30 October, 1975.
, 20, a mother of two from Manchester and a sex worker was killed by Sutcliffe on 1 October, 1977, 22, a mother of two from Bradford was a sex worker and was picked up by Sutcliffe. He attacked and killed her on 21 January, 1978, but her body wasn’t found until March 1978., 18, from Huddersfield, was working as a sex worker in the red-light district when she was killed on 31 January, 1978., 40, a mother of seven from Manchester was working as a sex worker when she met Sutcliffe.
