The comedian got emotional as he received a standing ovation at Manchester's AO arena.
Peter Kay made his comeback to live stand-up comedy on Friday, December 2, much to the delight of his fans.
He told the audience: "'Aw you’ll have me in bits. Lovely Manchester you made me cry. I can’t believe I cried, where did it come from all that emotion?" But this gesture wasn't reflected amongst the greedy touts, with Twitter being swarmed with people trying to get £155 for a single ticket to the sold-out shows.
