"We made thistable!” explained Pete. Larry David asked the two what was going on and they responded, "We babies!" They thought it was a great idea to get it permanently inked, so Pete called his "tattoo guy" to come to 30 Rock to do the work.
Sadly, Pete's "we babies" tattoo is half gone. "I burned mine off and you still have yours," he said to Miley, who revealed that the ink in question is on her ankle. The pair both showed off their inks — or what's left of them anyway — during the show.Pete has been in the process of removing his tattoos for a while; it's a lengthy process, and painful too. Pete told Seth Meyers that "burning them off is worse than getting them.
While his tattoo may be a memory, Pete and Miley's friendship is not — the two are co-hosting a New Year's Eve event in Miami, so we'll definitely get to hear some more fun stories before the ball drops.
