A person was stabbed Sunday night near Boston Common, police said.
Boston police had few details to report but confirm the department received a call around 7:43 p.m. for an incident on Tremont Street. The victim has non-life threatening injuries.Officers remain on scene and are actively investigating what happened.Sign up for NECN newsletters.
Further down Tremont Street, there was police activity near two MBTA buses, though it was not clear if the two scenes are connected. Tonight: BPD taking 2 people into custody, removing them from a silver line MBTA bus pulled over the side of Tremont St. .2 miles up the road & 15 min prior, 1 person stabbed w/ non life threatening injuries. BPD has not yet confirmed if the 2 scenes are connected.
