The popular chip-topper is sometimes replaced with a condiment which tastes almost exactly the same
After a long week of work or school, many households look forward to a well-earned takeaway from the chippy. And no fish supper is complete without a generous sprinkling of salt and spraying of vinegar.
Certain chip shops will instead opt for something called 'non-brewed condiment'. This vinegar replacement recreates the taste, but cannot actually be classified as vinegar. Previously, YouTuber Tom Scott spoke about the condiment which is often thought to be vinegar in a video titled: 'The Fake Vinegar In British Fish and Chip Shops'.
