Jayden Woods is the latest high-profile recruit to commit to Penn State's 2025 class.

Woods, ranked as the No. 167 prospect overall by 247 Sports, is the second-highest rated prospect in Penn State’s 2025 class. Woods sits behind only Mater Dei cornerback Daryus Dixson . Woods is the eighth commit Penn State has secured in the last 10 days. Last week, the Nittany Lions picked up six commits in the 2025 class: defensive backs Jahmir Joseph, Antonio Branch Jr. and Braswell Thomas; edge rusher Cortez Harris; and Imhotep running back Jabree Wallace-Coleman. On Monday, highly-touted edge rusher Max Granville committed.
To follow up Huhn with Woods is impressive by Franklin and his staff. It was only a few days ago that it looked like Penn State was lagging a bit recruiting edge rushers in the 2025 class. Then, defensive line coach Deion Barnes helped secure Harris, Granville and now Woods, the No. 18 edge rusher in the class, per 247 Sports.
