The devastated family of Cameron Eaglesham has paid an emotional tribute to the 44-year-old
A man who died after being struck by a Mercedes lorry in the east end has been named as Cameron Eaglesham, as his devastated family paid an emotional tribute to him.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 10.40am, including two ambulances, a special operations response team and a trauma team.The 44-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he sadly died.They spoke to Glasgow Live of their heartache over losing the "brilliant" uncle and brother.
"My dad is in the hospital because he had a stroke and we had to get him out of the hospital to tell him what happened. He was screaming “no, not my baby brother”."
