Pasadena Police Department cars crowded around the scene of a reported pedestrian death late Saturday night.A pedestrian was killed on Highway 225 in Pasadena late Saturday, according to Pasadena Police Department officials.
Pasadena police received reports around 11:20 p.m. Saturday about a pedestrian who had been injured in a crash near 1301 Highway 225, according to initial police scanner traffic. Officials found an unresponsive pedestrian lying in an east lane; the pedestrian later was pronounced dead at the scene, according to On Scene TV reporters.
The driver of a vehicle involved in the crash stayed at the scene and awaited authorities. An investigation was ongoing as of Sunday morning.
