One man is dead after being hit by a car while crossing a road in north Houston early Sunday, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of FM-1960 Road West, according to the sheriff's office. A man crossed the street without using a crosswalk and was hit by a pickup truck traveling west. The hit sent the pedestrian into a nearby parking lot, where emergency medical services found him and pronounced him dead, officials said.
