Pedestrian killed in crash in Talmadge community [Breaking]
A 38-year-old man died after being struck by two cars while crossing a street in the Talmadge community Thursday night, San Diego police said.A 24-year-old woman was driving west in a 2016 Honda Civic about 9:25 p.m. when she struck the man who was crossing the road in an unknown direction, San Diego police Officer Robert Heims said.
The driver told police she did not see the man before the crash.Bystanders in the area attempted to stop traffic after the collision, police said. A 22-year-old man driving west in a 2010 Toyota Corolla saw the group, but didn’t understand what they wanted. He continued driving and struck the pedestrian, as well.The Police Department’s traffic division is investigating the incident.
