SAN FRANCISCO — A pedestrian has died after being hit by a Caltrain travelling through San Francisco on Saturday morning, according to the commuter rail line.
The pedestrian was struck by a northbound train in Tunnel 3, located at 1894 Quesada Ave, San Francisco, just before 9am on Nov.26. According to Caltrain spokesperson Dan Lieberman, emergency personnel were still at the scene as of 11:45am. The individual was trespassing on the tracks, Lieberman said in an email.
