A popular Chorley hotel is preparing to reopen after three years of closure. Park Hall Hotel closed in 2020, and has remained that way after it closed down under plans to be turned into accommodation for asylum seekers.
Jobs for six roles have been posted to job site, Indeed. These are, Guest Service Agent - Food & Beverage Service, General Manager, Night Porter, Maintenance Technician, Housekeeping Supervisor and receptionist. The hotel recently faced speculation about its future as signage for 'Educare', an education company, appeared on the site. However new owners, Brilliant Hotels, have since confirmed that Educare have no affiliation with the hotel now, and are preparing to reopen once safety and compliance checks are complete.
The battle to reclaim that cash remains ongoing, with some telling LancsLive in early April they were owed hundreds and others still missing out on thousands.
