Michael Jackson's daughter Paris Jackson furiously denies reports over the weekend that she attempted suicide, calling any such stories 'lies, lies, lies.'
The 20-year-old was spotted with her boyfriend, Gabriel Glenn, after the reports were published.
Earlier this month HBO aired its documentary "Leaving Neverland," where two men detail alleged child sexual abuse by Michael Jackson, who died in 2009 at the age of 50. While the Michael Jackson estate has filed a lawsuit against HBO, Paris Jackson has urged her social media followers to stay calm, writing, "I know injustices are frustrating and it's easy to get worked up. But reacting with a calm mind usually is more logical that acting out of rage."
When a fan wrote to Paris Jackson, claiming, "They want to tear his name down and stop playing his music," the young star responded, "Yeah they do that to everyone with a good heart and tries to make a difference but do you really think that it's possible to tear his name down? Like do you truly believe they stand a chance? Relax and have peace."Since then, a radio station has confirmed that it will stop playing Michael Jackson's music.
In addition to the lawsuit from the estate, the Jackson family also released a statement earlier this month, which reads in part, "Michael Jackson is our brother and son. Michael is not here to defend himself, otherwise these allegations would not have been made ... The facts don't lie -- people do. Michael Jackson was and will always be 100 percent innocent of these false allegations.
