"I check his location a while later and can see he was still at the bus stop so I rang him and he said it hasn't turned up. I had to make arrangements to pick up my son and I rang one of the girls in the village and said 'I don't think the bus has turned up'. "We are just going to be worrying morning and night if our children are safely getting to-and-from school."

"How does the Council think it’s acceptable for students to have anxiety every morning because of worrying if they will make it to school in time or make it to school at all, as there isn’t enough space? "Children are now being left standing at bus stops for a long time as buses are full, putting them in a vulnerable position, and making them late, which is encroaching on their learning time."

A spokesperson for Telford & Wrekin Council said:"Telford & Wrekin Council is committed to providing affordable and reliable public transport, as demonstrated by the seven new routes to support people in getting to school, work as well as travel from rural areas to the hospital.
