Vienna's in the town's New Street has launched the Last Orders Badge to allow revellers to enjoy their night – even if they are a bit worse for wear.

A Paisley nightclub has introduced a unique new scheme to protect punters who have had too much to drink in the popular venue.

Revellers in the busy clubbing spot who have been deemed a bit worse for wear by security will be assessed by the club’s on-site medical team and, if deemed safe to stay, they will be given the ‘Last Orders Badge’ which will prevent them from being sold any more alcohol. There is also a dedicated St Mirren section that will follow every kick of the ball with the Buddies.Speaking to the Paisley Daily Express about his thinking behind the new policy, Stephen said: “If a customer is showing the signs of being a bit too intoxicated, instead of just ejecting them from the club, we will have our stewards or on-site medic evaluate them, and provide them with a UV necklace with attached ‘Last Orders’ badge.

“They will be far safer in the club than wandering the streets trying to get home alone or struggling to get a taxi by themselves.
