Despite the pain and trauma, “things are getting better,” she said, noting students have since returned to school. “When I sing it I remember the good, I remember my community, my family, the love. And I remember it’s all there for me. It’ll help me get to where I need to be.”“It was an amazing moment over here,” judge Heidi Klum enthused.“You took my breath away,” chimed in Sofia Vergara. “You were not just singing. You were showing us your feelings. And you gave me goosebumps.”
